SailGP continues its partnership with leading marine services agency BWA Yachting to manage and deliver SailGP Adrenaline Yachts – a premium superyacht experience taking place at each SailGP event. Adrenaline Yachts welcomes superyachts to the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix, offering preferential viewing inside the public exclusion zone on Sydney Harbour to witness the most exciting racing on water. Adrenaline Yachts vessels are required to be 80 feet and above. Limited charter or own-boat options available for corporate or private use.

TEAM BASE TOURS

Go behind the scenes at the SailGP Technical Area and Team Bases. Exclusive tour of the 'pit lane garages' where athletes and shore teams prepare one of the world’s fastest sail racing boats, the high tech F50. A rare chance to see SailGP's elite athletes and the wing-sailed foiling boats up close as the teams prepare for battle on Sydney Harbour. 

Tours run several times a day from the 21 February - 25 February inclusive.

Watch the racing from the water. Only SailGP spectator boats will get you into the heart of the action on Sydney Harbour. Open top boats offer an amazing view of the racing from inside the public exclusion zone, together with live race commentary to give the ultimate experience of the most competitive racing on-water.

BYOB

Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) 

Watch the high-speed action on the water from your own boat. New in 2024, boaters can now purchase a flag to secure a preferential viewing position inside the public exclusion zone, giving you the best vantage point to watch the action! Boats without a flag will be held outside of the exclusion zone during racing. Vessels must be under 80 feet to be eligible for BYOB. BYOB Flags cannot be used for commercial purposes. 
 

FLAG INCLUSIONS 

  • Preferred positioning inside the public exclusion zone 
  • Souvenir flag to fly on your boat 
  • Live race commentary over radio 
  • We’ll offset your carbon footprint for the experience BYOB Ticket Conditions 
  • The BYOB vessels will be issued with an identifying flag that must be displayed and clearly visible at all times when approaching the defined entry points and while on the racecourse area. 
  • A representative of the BYOB of the vessel (preferably the captain/skipper) must attend the online Flagged Boat Briefing 
  • A representative of the BYOB of the vessel (preferably the captain/skipper) must collect the SailGP flag in person and by collecting the flag is agreeing that they attended the appropriate briefing and understand the requirements of being inside the Exclusion Zone. 
  • The BYOB vessel captain must ensure that the marine VHF channel that will be assigned in the briefing is always monitored while participating in the program. 
  • The BYOB vessel captain must enter the exclusion zone through the entry gate on the western side for the Exclusion Zone just south of Bradley’s Head.
  •  Entry onto the race area must occur between 15:00-16:00 on each day the flag is valid 
  • Race Management will determine the location of BYOB program vessels on and for each day of the program and the course marshals will monitor the positioning of the BYOB vessels. Some areas will be demarcated by labeled marks. 
  • The use of drones, fishing equipment or recreational swimming is prohibited for vessels participating in the BYOB program whilst within the Exclusion Zone and allocated spectator areas. 
  • Non compliance with any instruction or any of the conditions for this program voids the flag holders right of access and they may be asked to leave the area as directed by a course marshall.
