Ticket Information
How can I buy a ticket for SailGP?
There are two ticket types available for the Race Stadium:
- Waterfront Grandstand: Get ready for an exhilarating day of world-class racing with our Waterfront Grandstand ticket. Perfect for fans who want to be in the heart of the action, this ticket offers stadium seating and an entertaining atmosphere with dedicated Race Stadium hosts.
- Waterfront Premium Lounge: Immerse yourself in the ultimate SailGP experience with our Premium Lounge ticket. Witness the thrill of SailGP in style with our Premium Lounge ticket, combining top-tier hospitality with front-row views to the action-packed racing.
- VIP Lounge: Step into the height of SailGP luxury with our VIP Lounge ticket. Relax in a refined lounge environment, enjoy world-class hospitality, and take in every high-speed moment from the most privileged spot on the waterfront. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For group bookings of 10 or more.
How do I get my ticket and what happens if I can’t find my confirmation?
Details of how to obtain your ticket will be provided in your order confirmation email from Fever. Tickets will be scanned at the gates for fast entry - on your mobile device. Please check your spam folder in case your tickets have been diverted from your inbox. If you can’t find your ticket, please contact ticketing@sailgp.com.
What is your re-entry policy?
There is no re-entry to the race stadium, if you wish to leave the race stadium you will not be granted readmission.

The Race Stadium is located at Southsea Common, Portsmouth. The main entry is located on Brian Kidd Way next to the D-Day Story Museum.
Waterfront Grandstand and Waterfront Premium ticket holders are based in the Race Stadium.
Getting to the event
Getting to the event
As an event powered by nature, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we won’t be providing event car parking. Instead, we encourage all attendees to plan their journey to Portsmouth using cleaner, greener travel options.
Portsmouth is a well-connected city, served by trains, coaches, and ferries. Within the city, a comprehensive local bus network links key areas—including the main transport hub at the Hard Interchange and routes along the seafront—making it easy to get around without a car.
Once you arrive, Portsmouth’s flat layout and scenic waterfront make it ideal for walking or using eco-friendly transport. We highly recommend strolling or hopping on a Voi rental e-scooter or e-bike to reach the event site.
Local Train stations
Portsmouth has 3 train stations in walking distance of the event site
- Portsmouth Harbour – 40 min walk or catch the number 23 or 3 local bus to Southsea.
- Portsmouth & Southsea – 35 min walk or catch the number 23 or 3 local bus to Southsea.
- Fratton– 38 min walk or catch the number 18 local bus to Clarence Pier.
If walking isn’t for you, there are regular local buses and many taxis in the area that can take you directly to the seafront from these stations.

Coach
National Express operates service to Southsea a 20 min walk to the event site. Plan your journey with National Express.
Park and ride
If you need to drive park at:
- Portsmouth Park and Ride conveniently located off Junction 1 of the M275. The PR3 summer service runs every 30 minutes from 9.35am to the seafront. The last bus leaves Clarence Pier at 7.26pm and there is no overnight parking in this car park. Plan your journey using Portsmouth Park and Ride
Park in Havant and ride into Portsmouth on the train. Plan where to park on Parkopedia.
Boats and Ferries
- Hovertravel operates every hour between Ryde and Southsea. We expect these to be very busy, so we recommend pre-booking. Plan your journey with Hovertravel.
- Wightlink ferries operates a frequent throughout the day. Plan your journey with Wightlink
Traveling from Isle of Wight
- Gosport Ferry runs every 15 minutes throughout the day. The ferry also carries bicycles and there is a public car park near the terminal in Gosport. In Portsmouth the terminal is next to The Hard Interchange where you can catch the 23 or 3 local bus to Southsea. Plan your journey with Gosport Ferry .
- Hayling Island ferry runs a service to Eastney and bicycle are free. From the ferry the number 25 bus service will take you straight to the event. Plan your journey with** Hayling Ferry.**
Travelling from Gosport or Hayling Island
Portsmouth’s local bus services offer a well-connected network of routes, including convenient links to the event. Plan your journey with First South and Stagecoach.
Local buses
The temporary drop-off and pick-up point for the event is on Clarence Esplanade east of Jack Cockerill Way.
Getting dropped off
In addition to the taxi ranks on Osborne Road and at Clarence Pier. The temporary event taxi rank is located at on Clarence Esplanade east of Jack Cockerill Way.

Taxi
Portsmouth is a flat, scenic city—perfect for walking or cycling. If you're able, we recommend making your way to the event on foot or by bike. You can also rent a Voi e-scooter or e-bike for a quick and sustainable ride to Southsea Seafront. Plan your journey with Voi.
Walk and cycle
No onsite parking is provided except for blue badge holders on a first come first serve basis on Castle Fields.
On site car parking
No on-site parking is provided except for blue badge holders on a first come first serve basis on Castle Fields.
Other car parking
Please use public transport where possible or park your car at the Portsmouth Park and Ride. If you must drive, there are city car parks including one on Southsea common however there is limited capacity along the seafront due to the Coastal Defences improvement works. At SailGP, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment for everyone. As part of this, we will endeavor to make our services, facilities and event sites as accessible as possible to ensure no one feels excluded. If you'd like to see additional facilities at a SailGP event, or if you have any other personal requirements, please contact us.
Tickets for wheelchair accessible viewing are available for purchase as a separate item from general access tickets, which will ensure access to a reserved viewing section. Viewing for wheelchair accessible guests will be in front of the main grandstand, on a separate platform that is fully accessible, and offers fantastic views of the racing. Companions attending with spectators with accessible requirements are welcome to join them in the viewing area. When selecting your Accessibility ticket you will need to select your free companion ticket. Limited mobility seating will be available in blocks C and D with limited step access.
The Waterfront Premium Lounge is step free unreserved seating available on a first come first served basis, there will be space available for wheelchair accessible viewing.
Carer Access
When purchasing an Accessible / Wheelchair ticket, you are entitled to one free companion. Don’t forget to add this to your cart.
General Facilities
Race Stadium facilities are accessible to all, including catering and bar outlets, the Fan Shop and toilets.
Assistance Dogs
Registered assistance dogs are permitted, including into our unreserved grandstand seating. There is no specific dog spending area in the event site, however our re-entry policy facilitates leaving and re-entering the Race Stadium (subject to bag searches upon re-entry).
Ground Information
All ground surfaces within the site are hard. Some kerbs are situated around the event space and parking areas, but ramped access will be available to all areas. Viewing areas within the grandstands will be accessed via ramps, where our Event Ambassadors are available to provide assistance as necessary.
Weather
Will this event take place in rain or shine?
The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather causing the cancellation of racing, refunds will be offered in line with our Refund Policy
As this is an outdoor event, you are advised to dress appropriately for the weather. If the forecast is looking hot and sunny, remember to bring a hat, high SPF sun cream and drink plenty of water. NOTE: Absolutely no single use disposable bottles are permitted, so bring a reusable water bottle and use our free refill water points to stay hydrated throughout the afternoon.
Dress Code
There is no official dress code for SailGP events, but we are an outdoor event so we strongly recommend you prepare for the weather forecast.
NOTE: Large umbrellas are not permitted in the grandstands as this will disrupt the view for other fans.

Do you have accessible parking available?
Yes. If you have indicated accessibility requirements when booking your ticket, our ticketing team will reach out to you for a dedicated ADA parking space close to the Race Stadium entrance up to one week prior to the event. Please contact ticketing@sailgp.com if you require ADA parking and have not been contacted directly.
Is there an accessible drop off point closer to the Race Stadium?
An accessible drop off point will be available close to the Race Stadium.
On The Day
When is the event?
The event is on Saturday 25th and 26th July 2026.
When does the Race Stadium open?
The Race Stadium will open at 14:00. Please note, times are subject to change. Plan ahead and arrive early to leave plenty of time for our entry searches and ticket checks.
When is racing scheduled?
Racing is scheduled between 16:00 - 17:30 (subject to change), with three races each day (weather dependent). Updates or changes to the schedule due to inclement weather will be communicated via our website.
Our F50s are exhilaratingly fast, and the race leader can change in the blink of an eye - we recommend staying in your seats during the racing so you don’t miss any excitement out on the water!
What is in the Race Stadium?
Our Race Stadium has something for all fans to enjoy. Our Waterfront Grandstand viewing offers views of the racecourse , complemented by pre-show entertainment, expert local commentary and broadcast graphics on large screens. A selection of locally sourced, sustainable foods and beverages will be available to purchase (see Food & Drink section).
What happens in the Race Stadium after racing?
After racing , it’s time to get the party started! The Race Stadium will stay open until 18:30. As well as enjoying the music, visit the Fan Shop for a take home souvenir, and soak up the atmosphere with a last drink at the bar to end your visit in style.
Prohibited Items
What is your search policy?
For your safety, it is a condition of entry that all bags are subject to inspection by our security team before you can enter the event site. Carefully check the list of prohibited items (see Security section or Event Terms & Conditions) to ensure you don’t accidentally bring a forbidden item on the day. Please do not leave bags or personal items unattended or anywhere they could cause concern for our security team.All items are brought to the event at your own risk.
How many bags can I bring?
One bag that does not exceed 30 x 30cm may be brought into the event site. In addition, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.
Are there any prohibited items?
Yes. You are not permitted to bring in glass, cans, single-use plastic (including disposable water bottles), BBQs, weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, flares, political items, speakers etc into the event site. This is not an exhaustive list and any permissible items are at the discretion of our Security Manager based on our local licensing conditions. Forbidden items will be confiscated and disposed of by our security staff before you can enter the event site. Confiscated items cannot be returned at the end of your visit. Can I bring my dog?
Dogs, aside from registered assistance dogs, are not permitted within the event site.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes. Race Stadium ticket holders can bring in cameras, however photography or filming for commercial purposes is not permitted. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, so please check back before your visit for the latest information.
Can I fly my own drone / UAV?
No. There is a legally enforced Air Exclusion Zone in place during the event. Unauthorized drones are strictly prohibited on or in the vicinity of the event site and racecourse, as they are dangerous to SailGP helicopter and drone operations.

There will be a selection of food & beverage available for purchase within the Race Stadium.
Please recycle all your leftover food packaging using the recycling bins positioned around the event site.
NOTE: Our vendors all strive to purchase their ingredients from sustainable and local sources as much as possible, so their actual menus and prices may be different on the day.
Bringing Your Own Food & Drink
Unfortunately no external food, drinks or coolboxes can be brought into the Race Stadium, Exceptions will only be made for medically necessary items or baby food after proper inspection.
Litter and Recycling

Please bring your own reusable water bottle and make the most of our free drinking water refill stations. For your safety, if you are bringing a reusable water bottle into the Race Stadium, we may request a sniff and/or sip test.
SailGP works to divert as much waste from landfill as possible, so absolutely no single use plastic bottles are permitted in the Race Stadium. These will be confiscated during our entry searches and recycled by our local waste management vendor.
Facilities
Are there toilets on-site?
Separate male and female toilet facilities and accessible facilities are available inside the Race Stadium.
Is there a Fan Shop?
Absolutely. Our on-site Fan Shop will be selling a wide range of official SailGP merchandise during Race Stadium opening hours.
What first aid facilities are onsite?
Our first aid team will be situated in the Race Stadium. Please ask one of them if you need assistance during your visit.
Is there a left luggage facility?
Unfortunately there is no left luggage facility available within the Race Stadium. Please plan ahead and check the prohibited items list and permitted bag sizes before you leave your home. Prohibited items will be confiscated and disposed of by our security staff before you can enter the event site. Confiscated items cannot be returned at the end of your visit.
Can I smoke or vape in the stadium?
Our Race Stadium is a no smoking site (including e-cigarettes and vapes).
Lost and Found Property

General lost property will be taken to the Information Point just outside the Race Stadium entrance. Please ask one of our Event Ambassadors if you need any assistance. Items found in the Race Stadium will be kept until the end of Sunday 26 July.
Children
Children
Children are permitted into the Race Stadium.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 5 years of age can access our Race Stadium free of charge. Please be aware that all under 5s must sit on the lap of an adult if sitting in our unreserved grandstand.
Whilst buggies are permitted inside the event site please be aware that there is no left luggage area or baby change facility.
