When do tickets go on sale?

How do I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online in advance from sailgp.com/tickets from 17 September 2025
Can I purchase tickets at the event?
We will have a box office on-site during the event. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets via the Fever App (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store) or online.
How many tickets can I buy?
You can buy up to 24 tickets for the Waterfront Grandstand, and up to 10 for Waterfront Premium per order.
If you don’t see your confirmation email, please make sure to check your spam folder. If you still can’t find it, please contact us for assistance.
When will I receive my ticket?
Your ticket QR codes will be sent approximately 10 days before the event to the same email used for the booking.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. Your QR codes will appear in the Fever app 10 days before the event takes place.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, as soon as your tickets are issued (10 days before the event), you will be able to transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Can I leave and re-enter the Race Stadium?
No. There is no re-entry. Once you have left the race stadium you will not be permitted back in.

Accessibility
Do you offer accessible tickets?
Yes. We have a dedicated wheelchair viewing platform located in front of the main grandstand.
Please note: due to the structure of the grandstand, there are a significant number of steps to reach all Grandstand and Premium seating. These areas are not suitable for people who cannot climb multiple flights of stairs.
What if I don’t use a wheelchair but can’t manage stairs?
Yes, one free Companion ticket is available per accessibility booking.
Are carers admitted free?
Yes. Accessible toilets, ramps, and staff assistance available.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, ramps, accessible toilets, and staff support are available.
Are assistance dogs allowed?
Yes, registered assistance dogs only.
Getting to the event
Where is the event located?
Wynyard Quarter, Auckland CBD, New Zealand
What transport options are available?
We encourage all our event attendees to use public transportation options and walk or cycle wherever possible. Plan your journey on the Auckland Transport network here. Payment for transport is via HOP Card, which you will need to purchase before travel. Further information can be found here.
Is there parking available?
There is no designated parking available for the event.
Weather & what to bring
Is the event weather-dependent?
No, it's a rain-or-shine event. Racing may be delayed if conditions are unsafe. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the event cannot be held, we will notify you via email at the same address linked to your Fever account. When in doubt, please remember to check your spam folder too.
What should I bring?
- Hat and sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle (no single-use plastic) to use at our water refill stations
- Light jacket or raincoat
Please note:
Umbrellas are not allowed in the grandstands as they block views for other fans.
Food & drink
Are food and drinks available on site?
There will be a selection of food & beverages available for purchase within the Race Stadium.
Please recycle all your leftover food packaging using the recycling bins positioned around the event site.
Our vendors all strive to purchase their ingredients from sustainable and local sources as much as possible, so their actual menus and prices may be different on the day.
Can I bring my own food/drinks?
Unfortunately no external food, drinks or coolboxes can be brought into the Race Stadium. Exceptions will only be made for medically necessary items or baby food after proper inspection.
What is the litter and recycling policy?
Please bring your own reusable water bottle and make the most of our free drinking water refill stations. For your safety, if you are bringing a reusable water bottle into the Race Stadium, we may request a sniff and/or sip test.
SailGP works to divert as much waste from landfill as possible, so absolutely no single use plastic bottles are permitted in the Race Stadium. These will be confiscated during our entry searches and recycled by our local waste management vendor.
Facilities
Are there toilets?
Yes, including accessible toilets.
Is there a Fan Shop?
Absolutely. Our on-site fan shop will be selling a wide range of official SailGP merchandise during Race Stadium open hours.
Is there lost property?
Yes, go to the Information / Ticket booth located near the Race Stadium entrance.
What first aid facilities are onsite?
First aid stations are located within the Race Stadium. If you need assistance, please approach any member of our first aid team or any SailGP staff member.
Security & prohibited items
What is the bag policy?
One small bag (max. 30 x 30 cm) + one clutch/purse per person.
Are there bag checks?
All bags will be searched at entry.
What items are prohibited?
Prohibited items include
- Umbrellas
- Glass
- Cans
- Single-use plastic (including disposable water bottles)
- BBQs
- Weapons
- Illegal substances
- Fireworks
- Flares
- Political materials
- Portable speakers
- Any other potentially disruptive or dangerous items
This is not an exhaustive list. Permitted items are at the discretion of our Security Manager and may vary based on local licensing conditions.
All bags are subject to inspection. Any prohibited items will be confiscated and disposed of by event security and cannot be returned after the event. Please review our full list of prohibited items [HERE].
Can I smoke or vape?
No, the Race Stadium is a smoke- and vape-free zone.
Families
Are children allowed?
Yes. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Ages 5–17: Require a Child ticket
- Under 5: Free entry (must sit on an adult’s lap in the Grandstand)
- 18+: Adult ticket required
Can I bring a buggy or pram?
Yes, but note there is no left luggage or baby change facility.
